The animations and motion for iOS 26 are supposed to show fluidity and maybe even playfulness. However, they often seem more “sloppy” and ragged. Uncontrolled fluid would go everywhere, which is what it feels like these things are doing. More distracting than playful.

I think they’re having issues that the status page is not reporting. Waiting longer would make sense if something is timing out, but I noticed other errors besides auth this morning.

Strongly encourage all academics, novelists, reporters, bloggers, whatever to just email this account and state that you want to opt out of this idiocy.

Overload them with emails and make them regret they ever tried this shit.

Insurrectionist Brunch: Trumpists plotted to deploy military on U.S. soil Before the 2024 election, a cadre of MAGA loyalists met over brunch to plot ways for Trump to use the military domestically.

This is just astonishingly great reporting.

All of the crises the White House has claimed over the last 14 months were planned in advance. All of them.

And however much contempt you have for media outlets who reverently relayed Trump's claim to have no relation to Project 2025, it isn't enough.

Interesting how quickly everyone is now becoming a lifelong TDD practitioner now it appears essential for GenAI assisted development.

The reality is that only a tiny fraction of the industry have genuinely been practicing TDD in the 20 plus years since Kent Beck first coined it.

The stacking workflow Stacked PRs. Stacked diffs. Stacked changes. A better workflow to manage pull requests.

More evidence that developers (and their organizations) generally don't understand the Theory of Constraints. If your bottleneck is code review, fix *that*, not find something else to do while you wait (on top of adding more to the queue).

To recap in light of breaking news out of the UK:

The French found a way to prosecute former presidents.

The South Koreans did the same.

Our British cousins now literally are prosecuting members of the Royal Family.

But U.S. presidents remain above the law.

Does “I have so many Claude sessions running in parallel on different tasks, I’ve lost track of what each is doing” sound like elephant-sized inventory to you?

13.02.2026 13:12 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0

I see engineers talk about how many parallel Claude sessions they’re running, the point they can’t keep track of everything in progress. So they build tooling to track the progress and check on their sessions. This does not feel like progress as much as overwork chaos.

Why I Lost Faith in Kagi Issues with Kagi's AI focus, finances and leadership

I was a Kagi supporter, but might need to rethink it. A CEO that thinks AI can be 100% unbiased is going to make some questionable product decisions.
