I was staunchly against for most of my career but decided to give them a try a few months ago. Don’t hate them nearly as much as I expected.
Modern ligature fonts give you a lot of control over which features you want, and just like picking a coding font you like, pick one with ligatures you like!

One feature I love of the Nest Hub Max smart display I have in my kitchen is gesture controls. Being able to hold a palm up ✋🏻 to pause/resume music or video is SO NICE!
I find myself wishing I could do the same with the living room and bedroom TVs, even with a remote nearby

Continuing to be a huge fan of Jujutsu. Going back to just git feels like an artificial handicap. If you're not at least trying some of these newer tools, you're missing out!
