It’s good to see the rights of all women being at the forefront, and not just *some*women.

On that recent European Parliament vote that included recognition of trans women as women.

It’s a good step forward and can hopefully lead to meaningful changes. Even if this is non-binding and was to set their priorities as they enter negotiations at the UN Commission on the status of women

First of all, weak shit. I’ve studied detransition. I know many people who have. Researchers aren’t discouraged from doing it, they’re discouraged from doing it ~poorly.~

I agree, it isn’t talked enough. It’s not taken seriously enough. They all wonder why young boys and men are so radicalized, but then do nothing about it.

Reminder: you can be a fascist while being queer. Ersnt Rohm, an openly cis gay man, was a prominent Nazi who was instrumental in the rise of the party and you-know-who. Today, we have Buck Angel, Blair White, Brandi Nitti, Richard Grenell, Nick Fuentes (allegedly, but very likely), as a few examples of mostly white Queer people openly supporting/enabling/working with fascists. Some Queer people think they’ll benefit as “the good ones” but ultimately will be sacrificed by their own side.

And for some, they’re white first and foremost and never bothered to unlearn their racism, homophobia, and all-around bigotry.

There are most likely levers they can use to put pressure on NYU to not abandon trans children like this. They should be doing no harm, and this is the exact opposite.

We don’t know anything about the motive.

The Good Law project confirmed that there’s been a surge in trans kids who took their own lives.
This was due to violence through policies. Something rarely ackowledged (unless you’re part of a marginalized group), but with very real consequences.

Well it’s a whole lot of transphobia. Despite what the right trying to spin this. These communications were about dehumanization and fetishizing of trans people. Nothing about them could be considered in any way “pro” trans.

And that is the problem. The caving to the regime’s bullying is leading to this two-tiered healthcare system. One for cis people, and one for trans people behind so many walls and rules that cis people don’t have to go through.
