It's official! #PicoIDE, the open source IDE/ATAPI drive emulator I've been working on for the better part of this year, will be launching at Crowd Supply! Go there to sign up for updates and to be notified when the campaign is live: www.crowdsupply.com/polpotronics...
I got one for Christmas, and my cousins got walkie-talkies. I remember building I assume the crystal radio circuit, and I could hear their chatter on the walkie-talkie, felt like a spy.
Thanks! Which system?
One thing led to another, and now there is a NAT router / web server onboard the PicoPCMCIA.

Sure can!

Something different from this? or same idea.
Very cool how is it! I have been thinking to get one. My first "blackberry" was this form factor and I wish I could emulate the network so I could use it π

A PCMCIA card with a label saying "YYZ Credit Card Adapter for Everything" in the style of the PCMCIA cards that IBM made back in the 90s. A small wifi antenna, SD card slot, and dongle connector are on the card's edge.
Ever wanted a PicoGUS or PicoMEM but for PCMCIA? @yyzkevin.com's PicoPCMCIA adds modern WiFi networking, Sound Blaster, GUS, CD-ROM, and storage to any computer with a PCMCIA slot. He's getting closer to launch and is now taking deposits for the first run of cards. www.yyzkevin.com/picopcmcia/
yeah the SCP-55 is a great card. Every now and then you can spot one in a lot of junk cards for sale π
PhilsComputerLab has released a video highlighting the CD-ROM emulation feature of #PicoGUS! www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkzH...
#PicoGUS is now an ODE! I've just released firmware v3.0.0, which adds Panasonic CD-ROM drive emulation. Put some ISOs or BIN/CUE files on a USB stick, plug it into your PicoGUS, and you've got a virtual CD-ROM drive that works in DOS and Windows 9x and supports CD audio. github.com/polpo/picogu...
Exciting!
Casio camera watch I got in Japan some 25 years ago. I found the watch a few years ago in a bin and downloaded this picture over Infrared.
