Just got word that Bobbi Boudman won her special election in Carroll District 7, flipping a seat previously held by the book ban Representative Cordelli! Huge upset from 2024, which the Republican won with 57% last time. Bobbi won with 52% despite being outspent 6 to 1! #NHPolitics #NewHampshire

NH Libertarian Party says ‘perfectly permissible to kill’ former Executive Councilor for income tax plan In social media posts, the state Libertarian Party suggested violence in response to a proposal by former Executive Councilor Andru Volinsky and other advocates for a 3% state income tax.

NH lawmakers reject call for impeachment inquiry into top State House Democrat Republicans had targeted Executive Councilor Karen Liot Hill for conduct the New Hampshire Attorney General's office has already said didn’t amount to wrongdoing.

The committee's recommendation against opening the impeachment inquiry now heads to a vote by the full state House of Representatives.

Merrimack officials, residents say they’re relieved DHS is ditching its plan for a detention facility Gov. Kelly Ayotte announced Tuesday that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security will not move forward with a proposed Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Merrimack.

People in Merrimack expressed shock and relief that the federal government is scrapping plans to convert a local warehouse into an ICE detention facility.
