I don't know what to post so...my first post is my Spider Sona 💛

The only one who seemed genuinely interested in writing something interesting while respecting the foundations was Charles Soule with EB: Carnage, but the series got canceled (most likely because of fans whining about anything that isn’t Eddie Brock with the Venom symbiote).

I honestly don’t know whether this is an agenda pushed by the writers themselves or by Marvel as a company, but it’s awful.

Since the post-Cates era, it feels like the only thing writers do is watch the Venom movie trilogy and say, “Ok, now I know how to write symbiote characters,” and then they throw 30 years of stories and status quo straight out the window to make room for the movies.

in the last three years we got three symbiote that look like Spider-Man, 2 in 616 and 2 with same design and all three would fine if not for extending situations

Rek-Rap is just a joke character, but he's from the 22' run and Dark Web

All-New Venom is just having fun, but this era of Venom...

He seems pretty convinced, if you ask me.
