As a lot of the groundwork for transfers in the summer will be carried out over the next few months ( and whether to give new contracts) my guess is that the decision has already been made for the sake of continuity that he will be in charge in the summer .

I know it’s not going to happen but I do think people should keep their lack of transfer activity moaning on a low flame until the window shuts and see where we stand then .Criticism now is pretty mad when no one knows what is actually going on .

Tbf if he hadn’t tried different things plenty would be complaining that he just stuck to the same pattern and didn’t alter it ! We should have been more of a threat of course but there is clearly a team wide lack of confidence and belief in the final third .

It’s no secret that the team is structured to be more effective when it has the minority of possession . Last season it earned us 48 points but this season we are defending ok but the attacking part of the strategy isn’t producing .

It was poor no argument but breaking down teams who are intent on simply defending their box is not that easy. Even City have struggled with it .Our midfield players got a lot of possession but they are not creative passers and we obviously fell short in that area . Crossing quality also lacking
