Red Alstroemeria flowers buds against a difuse green background. The flower stalk enters the image on a diagonal from the bottome left and has three red flower buds at its end . The nearest bud sits horizontally and is opening to the right, the bud has jy-ust begun to open at its very tip and four strands of spiders silk are attached to various points on the end of the bud the strands join to form one singles strand which disappears out of the right hand side of the image. This bud is in clear foucs and has a number of raindrops on it, the other two buds are less sharp and smaller not being ready to open yet. One is on the diagonal and the other is more upright both have raindrops on them.
