On February 11, 2026, Kickstarter targeted union members who took an active role in the strike, laying off four people and moving one out of the bargaining unit.

One year ago we took a step into the unknown as a unit. We walked out on a ULP strike, fighting for just cause, fair wages, and remote worker protections. A supermajority of our unit participated in this historic action, and it worked - we won our first contract.
