Voter rolls and their data are already used for political advantage- ever get a call from someone you'd never voted for and can't explain how "Chuck Edwards" got your phone number? Text messages from candidates during election years? Why wouldn't the GOP use that data to find non-WASPs?

Disenfranchisement is a main point. If our nation makes voting difficult, the less inclined won't register or even vote. Voters that have a surname that suggests a non-white heritage will probably face more obstacles voting than someone lastnamed Smith, Miller, or Crosby.

While I'm no longer a spring chicken, I do acknowledge my age, though ruefully. Soon the world will change as it is apt to do, and I will forget about it, at least until the next time.

I'm continuing the exploration a new (to me) intersection of OpArt Colorfield/PopArt. While appearances suggest that each destroys the other, the chaos yields a precipitate that I find mysterious and hypnotic. And snarky! Yes, it gives me dark joy vibes. Totally acceptable.
