A formal letter from Dorset Police's Professional Standards Department, dated 10 December 2024, addressed to Mr. S Aziz, Director at PatientsCann UK. The letter acknowledges a complaint made against the police and confirms it has been formally recorded under Part 2 of the Police Reform Act 2002. It states the complaint will be handled at the local police level, with the local neighbourhood inspector tasked with resolving it. The letter also provides guidance on escalating the matter to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) if dissatisfaction remains after the complaint is resolved.

⚖️ The issue is being handled locally, and we’ve been informed it’s being chased this week. However, we are disappointed by the delays in resolving this matter, especially as the original post remains live, along with inaccurate news reports, continuing to spread misinformation and stigma.

PatientsCann UK is challenging Network Rail's restrictive new policy (NRA24-13), which unfairly bans most legal cannabis prescriptions, risks Equality Act breaches, and forces patients off treatment.
