The Trump DOJ has issued a memo back in February declaring that their number one top priority is immigration enforcement, above everything else. Fentanyl trafficking and other drug offenses are no longer listed as a priority for the DOJ. Neither is terrorism.

The state shouldn’t have the power to take a life. They have and will continue to make mistakes. Unjustifiable.

If a convicted person requests execution over incarceration, I could argue execution in that case is humanely justified.
