a private key is binary: you either have it or you don't. this paradigm made sense when the only actors were humans, but when you have agents as actors, scoped permissions & human delegation become imperative.

one approach: derive private keys from human attributes
biometric challenges, heart rate variability, feature combinations that are hard for an agent to continuously spoof. link the key to the human. make it non-transferable
now you have a root authority that's provably human

blockchains weren't built with AI in mind
Satoshi wasn't thinking about agents. Ethereum doesn't natively distinguish a human address from a bot address. there's no onchain concept of delegation rights, spending limits, or human verification baked into the protocol
that's a problem at scale

humans need control. agents need custody. you can't have an economically productive agent that can't touch money
but you also can't hand your private key to non-deterministic software you can't predict
