I downloaded an app called Aurora Store. This let me download apps from the Play Store, but if you go to the app in it, and select the drop-down at the top right, there's a "Manual download" option. Using trial and error, I entered 77, and got an old version without the enforced login.

Uninstalled the app and installed an older apk (I can do that cuz I'm on Android)
