SO I GUESS her social status depends on where she is, specifically. 8/10 she's a random adventurer with no standing but chill, 1/10 she's the WOL and has fans and clout, and 1/10 she's an esteemed culinarian with awards and prestige.

BUT not everyone knows who she is and she really doesn't announce herself. Himeka is happy being some ambiguous random lizard. She doesn't HIDE who she is when it's asked or made clear, but she isn't going for clout. Unless she wants to use the kitchen. Then she will share her accolades. 3/

Leaving the Ruby Sea, she has pretty much been a wanderer. It kind of puts her outside of most social circles? She didn't have much $$ in Kugane or Limsa and definitely lived off the kindness of others (or literally under docks). But now she has some esteem as a CUL if not the WOL. 2/

Himeka's family were oyster farmers in Sui-no-Sato, but it's a small settlement and most people are fairly equal except for the Ruby Princess + her cohort. When she got rushed into priestess training, that did elevate her since she'd be living at the palace...but then she left lmao. #himelore 1/
