How are people able to do both consistently?

How would you handle it?
A customer emailed SOAP Note AI about a refund for a subscription... except it was for another service. While I couldn’t process their refund, I made sure to point them in the right direction - looking up competitor's support email.
And I also took a chance.
"What would you do if a customer complained about credit card charges—but they meant to contact your competitor?"
