steam does not enforce drm on the games published on steam, that is entirely on the developers to implement. steam's own drm has long since been cracked/emulated to the point that ppl can even play some pirated games online.

ubisoft revoked access to the crew on uplay, the platform completely owned and controlled by them. owners of the steam version can still download the entire game today.

steam doesn't remove game licenses from your account. i have games on my acct that i can still play despite some of them being unlisted and the others being made by developers that were literally banned from ever selling on steam due to abusing the platform
think only nixxes ports did well. iirc spider-man sold on pc like hot pancakes, and was one of the reasons they expanded their catalog on the platform
