You know the best way to kill AI? Don't use it. Don't buy it. Don't share it. Don't give the people who use it your labour or your money.

The Impossible Times ebooks are on discount in the UK/US/Aus all month.

I'm very fond of these books (which are not YA). They're set in 80s London (my formative years and place) and have some very loose tie in with my other books.

They're relatively short - give 'em a shot!

A re-read, it was great but not perfect. I really enjoyed the focus on life/reality, and of course, DEATH haha

Fantastic story set in WW2, following the lives of a blind french girl and a german boy, both suddenly dropped into a different world. The importance of doing good, of not conforming, things that are as important now as then!

Abso-fecking-lutely!

Reading is a gateway drug to so many important aspects of adulthood like
Empathy
Critical thinking
Human decency

The best way to travel and broaden experiences without having to go anywhere except a library or bookshop!

I'm running this nonsense for free on July 11th. I'd appreciate folk spreading the word...

Also great! I loved them going to Manchester and Glossop, much closer to my neck of the woods, and then... babies😍!
I feel he got his strength again, after a couple of "just ok" books in the middle of the Faceless Man story.

I really think lifeβ€˜s struggles can be summed up by one simple sentiment:

So many books, so little time.

A pink illustrated background with white polka dots. In the centre, handwritten black text reads: β€œThe amount of good things in your life depends on your ability to notice them.” Around the words are cute drawings including a smiling photo frame with two figures, a red book with a star, a bee, a butterfly, a yellow sun, a cat face, a pink flower, a steaming cup with a heart, a note saying β€œI love you!”, and a striped vase with a tulip. β€œThe more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.” Oprah Winfrey

The good is often already here.

In the smile, the sunlight, the small everyday moments.

When we notice them, they seem to multiply.

Bannon, Epstein, Farage and Johnson and the Plot to 'Topple' Theresa May The far-right former Trump adviser told Jeffrey Epstein that "we are overthrowing May right now" as he worked with Boris Johnson to remove the then Conservative Prime Minister from office

The Epstein files grant us a rare glimpse into the kind of machinations that must be happening all the time. As @bylinetimes.bsky.social reveals, Trump's fixer, Steve Bannon, helped Boris Johnson overthrow Theresa May. Blatant foreign interference in our politics. 🧡

Probably sharing too much, but I worked in the office today and was very close to a meltdown 😞
Too many people, too many changes in my workplan, not enough breaks and general travel anxiety....
I've been sitting in the corner behind the sofa at home to "come back to myself", I'm feeling a bit better
