thank you! genuinely one of the simpler and yet evocative compositions I've done in a while! I'm still thinking about it, hoping to capture the feeling again.

I have been graciously kept busy by professional work that elevates and hones my craft. but I need to see my worlds manifested, plots given form, desire and magic and characters drawn. I need to make mistakes in art, to messy up the place. it feels like needing an exorcism. release my demons!

there’s no point to this other than I am thankful for you all and I am thankful for art. I am thankful for making. in a world of hateful sludge, I am glad that our hearts beat and pictures with stories, sentiments, fears, spirit comes out. I’ll keep creating until I can’t and I hope you do too.

I am grateful that not only does art remain possible, financially and physically (for now), but that I still love it. that it has not broken me, that I still have things I want to say with it on my own time. I do not always have the energy, and the ideas might fall short, but I still love.

sitting in immense gratitude that despite hardship and failing health that art remains possible. I sometimes feel like I have not earned being an artist as a career, that it can keep me fed and housed. but I am grateful. thank you for supporting my work, even at its most morbid and lurid.
