And I've reached the point where I need to add another new scene to hold this whole thing together.
Hi Ren.
Sonselasuchus was one of several species of Shuvosaurid pseudosuchians that lived during the Late Triassic. This small animal was part of a large radiation of crocodile relatives that went onto many niches that will be eventually occupied by dinosaurs later in the Jurassic

You suck, Ross.
Please don't name a character after me in your book. ๐ฑ
An image that looks like a motivational poster with bright rainbow in a clear blue sky and fluffy clouds. The text at the top says "Sometimes font choice does not matter." The middle text has the same sentence twice, once in fancy cursive and once in what looks like a font that resembles cutting letters from magazines to make ransom letters. The text itself reads "I'm going to name a character after you in my book." At the bottom, more text reads "Both of these are threats and you should be scared." Image made without the use of gAI by Dax.
I don't make the rules, I just inform you of them.
Long-term theft, on an economic scale.
Sounds lovely.
That doesn't mean much. Men will fuck a puddle if you put a soggy playboy magazine on front of it.
Is that a haunted keep of some sort in the distance? Feels like one.
I think I did a good job.
One reader told me it was cute how a Lovecraftian eldritch god had such grandfatherly concern for the MC's lovelife.
Is it weird how little swearing there is in my books?
Anyway, that's me rambling about Forgotten Gods.
A quick urban fantasy novel that's cozy, personal, a little intimate, and with a little romance on the side.
Also has just the cutest death goddess no one remembers anymore.

Have more yuri in these difficult days.
Forgotten Gods is one of my books that I really should work harder to find an audience for. I think folks might actually like it, but it also feels a bit of a hard sell in ways that the others don't, you know? I feel like I can't quite sum it up as neatly as I could the others.
I didn't exactly plan the details, particularly the relationship ones. But they're there and I'm fond of how they worked out, particularly how the various gods interact with Eileen.
In a way, I think that was the point of the novel. What relationships do these forgotten beings have?
The entire novel takes place in a single day. One day. Not even a particularly special or significant day. Okay, maybe it is significant, but not in some big way.
I wanted it that way. I wanted it small scale, avoiding the grand and the epic. I wanted it to feel personal, to feel grounded.
You might be thinking "This sounds like the setup for something epic," and I will concede that's a possibility.
At one point, I did consider that, even.
But decided against it. I decided I didn't want some grand epic scale for this. I wanted something small, something intimate. Cozy, even.
I tried to go for an eclectic collection of gods, and I admit I used the fact that they're forgotten to sidestep the need to do a ton of research. You can't prove or disprove that there's a forgotten tribal bull god from the Neolithic or a creepy-cute Celtic death goddess lost to time, can you?
One of the things that's fascinated me about history is how much we've forgotten collectively, and won't be able to get back. And that includes things like traditions, artwork, names, languages, people. And yes, gods.
But what does a forgotten god do? If they're still around, what's life like?
Lemme take a moment to ramble about one of my books, Forgotten Gods.
It's urban fantasy, yes. I know, I know, folks tell me urban fantasy is dead. But honestly, I neither knew nor cared about that when I wrote this a while back. ๐งต

It hasn't been mentioned out in the open so far, so I guess it counts as a spoiler?
Theft on a large enough scale is economics.
Still working on a toxic (fictional) breakup.
And again. I don't date men.
What are the worst excuses a man has ever given you for their bad behavior?
