NEWS: The Trump administration just gave Vladimir Putin another break. Treasury issued a license letting countries buy Russian oil already loaded onto ships before March 12, allowing those sanctioned shipments to still reach buyers, handing the Kremlin a financial lifeline.
Talarico on Trumpworld's "short term pain" talking point: "I'd like them to tell that to the parents of the American troops who have lost their lives. That is not short term pain. That is pain that will last forever ... no one asked for this."
1. Donald Trump starts a war with Iran, deeply unpopular with the American people, that causes oil prices to spike.
2. Trump allows Russia to sell its oil at those inflated prices, giving Russia far more money for its war with Ukraine.
3. Trump is Russia First.

Trump thinks his military has "won the war" with Iran. Problem is, Iran's economic war on the US and all of our Allies is just beginning. Trump's Admin. real 'failure of imagination'/planning for consequences of war with Iran has world-wide implications.
It took less than a period and a half for all of the optimism generated by an upset win over Colorado to swirl down the bowl Thursday night in Dallas. Twenty-seven minutes, exactly. Thatβs how long it took the Stars to pistol-whip the Edmonton Oilers... http://oilerhockey.com/article/35470

Same tactics as Russia!
Survivors said three residential buildings were bombed simultaneously, while a missile struck a nearby police station. Iranβs Health Ministry reports over a dozen hospitals and clinics across Iran have suffered damage, including the Gandhi Hospital in Tehran.
Better headline: Republicans refuse to fund FEMA, TSA and CISA during their DHS shutdown.
More rumors are going around Netanyahu is preparing to use nukes against Iran to stop the war. This would be a war crime and a stain the the American people that will never wash off.

Still no censure of Tommy Tuberville, Randy Fine, or Andy Ogles, who are openly promoting hate against Muslims while the US is bombing Iran, killing the Ayatollah, and people like Lindsey Graham are calling it a "religious war" DURING RAMADAN.
How do you think this all ends, folks?
Maasdam: What weβre doing overseas β spending billions of dollars a day. In two weeks, we probably spent $25 billion. We had an Ayatollah Khomeini to start, and now we have a new Ayatollah Khomeini. And how is this making things in my district more affordable for people? Itβs not

Chris Murphy: βThey have NO plan to open up the Strait of Hormuz β a totally foreseeable result of a military action against Iranβ
Itβs getting worse, not better as Iran is now mining the Strait β if the Strait is closed for weeks or months more, thatβs a global economic catastropheβ
