yo creo que bsky es asi y tiene cierta popularidar por⦠no ser federado al fin y al cabo (debido a los problemas que mencionaste). Y no hay mas intancias por que hasta "recien" no fue tan facil "selfhost" ni hay alternativas implementaciones como en caso de mastodon; pero vamos a ver que surge :)
por otra parte moderacion de pds/rely/appview puede tener el mismo efecto que problemas con una instancia.
La differencia es que mastodon empece con 100% distribuido y blusky con centralizacion 100% y solo ahora empezara fragmentarse y llegara al mismo momento/problema IMHO
eso en general es el problema con⦠"el internet" ;)
aunque lo mismo puede pasar con bluesky si sigue descentralizΓ‘ndose -- hay eurosky, blacksky, etc y en un momento rely or appview puede dejar de mostrar cierto contenidoβ¦

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I didn't enjoy it.It wasn't the subject (which was fine-ish) but rather crossing of the boundries and plain abuse which the movie somewhat tried to paint as "OK if one wants", which was painfully obvious wasn't the case
I'm not sure how I eventually found it, but if you go to bsky.social/account and sign in there, it'll let you revoke OAuth authorizations, as well as individual sessions for devices.
I'm guessing this only works if your account is on a Bluesky PDS.
Helium is just perfect - it's absurdly bare-bones, basically just the engine without anything else so ideal for quick check of website "in chrome" π₯³
