I enjoyed sharing my research on the commemoration of El Alamein at #SAHR2025 @societyarmy.bsky.social conference in Leeds on Saturday. I have been inspired by so many fantastic papers. Thank you to the organisers for hosting such a well organised event.

Our 2025 Conference intends to provide an overview of all aspects of British soldiering, but also its development. Healthcare has come a long way in recent decades, and one of our panels demonstrates the impact of these changes on the British soldier of the 20th & 21st centuries
