In other countries, it is a legal requirement. In our country, you can vote third party and if more so, perhaps it will change. But if folks don’t vote, they can sit down and shut up.

The more people who vote, the better. But let’s encourage apathy and nothing will change, including how both parties act.

Don’t forget to vote out Independent Angus King. He shouldn’t get a pass either.

King is an Independent who caucuses with the Democrats, so technically not a Democrat. As a media outlet, saying “The 8 Senators from the Democratic Caucus caved…” is more accurate. Please do better. Independent voters think their people don’t cave, but they do.

So why aren’t we also holding them more accountable?

Maybe this was strategic. Until it all plays out, we all need to take a beat. Call the Senators who voted no, including g the GOP ones. Let’s not forget Congress is made up from folks from both parties. Why isn’t there more heat in the GOP too?

All these people saying they are no longer going to vote is the fuckin’ reason we got Trump. 90 million didn’t vote in 2024 and here we are. No party is perfect, but I sure as hell will not vote for the GOP.

I’d like someone to focus on the 90 million Americans who didn’t vote in 2024 and get them registered.

Let’s start calling out the nearly 90 million Americans who did NOT vote in 2024.

This cluster fuck we’re in isn’t just due to MAGA/GOP’s fascism, or Dems who don’t vote the way you want.

It is 90 million of our fellow Americans who didn’t give a shit to vote.

My Senators continue to vote no. New Yorkers are the only ones who can get Schumer to listen. I’ve tried to call other Senators and they don’t care if you aren’t one of their voters.

If it isn’t a credible, reliable known source, then it is hearsay. We all need to take a beat and let it play out before blaming those who are fighting for us. Otherwise, we end up with no one voting for us.

It is possible to be a Senator and not vote with your party. They have voters who may not be like your super blue state, folks. Two Senators per State is in the Constitution. I am grateful my blue state Senators voted no today.
