That is what you should set to 80% to increase longevity. It depends on the type of battery though. If you have a very modern but smaller EV you possibly have LFP batteries, those are very forgiving to high charge levels, you might not need to bother.
Also the amperage defines how fast you charge, but not the target charge level. That is usually set in the car.
The Grizzle-E is an AC charger, it simply does not reach close to the high charge rates a DC charger can do. There is no reason at all to limit your charge rate

Wir haben unser neues (Baujahr 1975) Haus von Nachtspeicher auf Klimasplit umgebaut. Wir heizen/kühlen jetzt zum Großteil mit eigener PV.
Billiger und CO2 sparender gehts auf Dauer kaum.

Nein, der #1 ist bis auf ein paar Millimeter genauso groß wie ein VW Sportsvan, also kein übergroßes SUV, aber auch nicht klein. Smart hat angekündigt das der #2 wieder ein wirklich kleines Auto werden soll.
Bei meinem #1? Nein, kein Problem. Mit meinen üblichen 80% SOC komme ich zwischen 280km im Winter und 350km im Sommer. Maximale Reichweite die ich je geschafft habe war knapp 500km. Es hängt halt alles vom Fahrverhalten ab. Ich pendel täglich 70+km, entspannter bin ich nie angekommen.
Anders als z.B. beim BMW XM ist der #5 nicht nur aussen groß, die Größe kommt bei den Insassen und dem Gepäckraum an. Zum Glück ist der #5 jetzt auch nicht so übergroß wie manch anderes SUV, aber für die Stadt würde ich ihn nicht kaufen.
Ja, der #1 und #2 sind gefälliger. Aber ich habe im #5 drin gesessen, das ist verdammt viel gutes Auto fürs Geld. Wie auch beim #1 und #3. Ich fahre seit zwei Jahren den #1 und würde immer noch kein anderes Auto kaufen.
i can only speak for sometimes pretty wet germany. It works surprisingly well in the wet and with less than perfect visibility during heavy rain. It does have problems with missing markers, but so do many humans.
Es geht eher darum das Wind und Solar in kleinen Schritten zugeschaltet werden können. Das erleichtert das wieder anfahren. Mit größeren Kraftwerken geht das nicht so einfach.
