Thinking about the bar I went to in San Antonio that has an escape room for an entrance and when you finally solve it and get inside you realize in horror that there are TVs all around the bar broadcasting a live feed of the entry
Pre-approving content/behavior is incredibly risky, and this is not new. If guidance is given and misunderstood, or a policy changes in the future, it puts the company in a hard place if they need to correct it
I’ve been sick with not much to do, so I’ve spent a lot of my day watching families react to representation in Bad Bunny’s halftime show. You can’t help but smile watching these.

I knew there’d be some AI slop commercials this year, but I was not fully prepared for how prevalent they’d be. Bad Bunny was super fun, at least.

Importantly, I want the games to have a clear ending. Anything meant to be played repeatedly/long term isn’t really what I’m looking for.

I know that I probably come off as overly pessimistic about gen AI. The tech is great, almost magical. But the way these models are trained is fundamentally unethical and threatens to undermine the human learning process. It is an existential complaint about tech run amok.
