I think when you mash the "repeat" button on YouTube music TWICE to repeat the same song indefinitely they should automatically increase the volume because clearly you're JAMMING.
Single panel comic in sepia tones of a Tyrannosaurus addressing a Nanotyrannus with the words 'you're adopted,' to which the Nanotyrannus replies, 'WOW.'
'You're adopted'

(For the non-palaeo folks, this is in light of a newly published paper re-establishing that #Nanotyrannus, previously understood to be a juvenile #T.rex, is indeed its own genus after all.)
Steam and itch.io have removed thousands of video games in recent weeks deemed to be "adult content" in order to comply with strict rules from payment processors like Mastercard.
These policies censor artists engaged in lawful speech. Mastercard shouldn't be the gatekeepers of our digital freedom.
Melissodes, the long horned bee! Named because of those majestic antennae. Happy I planted plenty of sunflowers for them! #nativebeesarethebest
The cicadas have officially arrived in Pennsylvania summer is objectively better now. โค
A fuzzy orange skipper butterfly, seen from the side, on a yellow dandelion-ish flower. The skipper has its proboscis mostly uncoiled in preparation for a sip of nectar.
A macro photo looking straight into the face of a fuzzy orange skipper butterfly roosting on a bent grass blade. The skipper's knobbed antennae extend to the side.
A macro photo, front three-quarter profile, of a fuzzy orange skipper butterfly on a purple flower, against a green out of focus background.
Here are your Saturday Skippers. Skippers are (often) small, fast butterflies with chunky, fuzzy bodies, big eyes, and (often) earth-tone colors. These were at the National Museums Collection Center in Edinburgh, Scotland, where my wife & I had an amazing visit hosted by @ashwhiffin.bsky.social. ๐ฟ๐
Look at all the thrilled creatures appreciating your hard work! โค
The recent rain was what it took to finally get my very first sunflower of the season! I had to reach as far up as I could for the shot because this guy is 8 ft tall ๐ #nativetoPA (but not technically since this is a "Ring of Fire" variety)
A carving of a frog in a sitting pose, made from translucent fluorite that's got pink, black and colourless banding. Its eyes and toes are carved lines. I'm pointing at it with a blue nitrile gloves finger - the frog is a bit shorter than my finger.
I found a fluorite frog friend in the collections the other day. We do have quite a few carved #minerals and it's always a nice surprise when I come across them while looking through drawers!
Graphic of "Somebody Should Do Something: How Anyone Can Help Create Social Change" by Michael Brownstein, Alex Madva, and Daniel Kelly. The cover is white with colorful text, the word "somebody" repeating down the cover six times.
"Somebody Should Do Something" paints a new picture of how social change happens, arguing that our most powerful personal choices are those that springboard us into working together with others. Cephalanthus occidentalis (button bush) is finally blooming. An amazing native plant for the east coast, attracts tons of pollinators, and a larval host to the hydrangea sphinx, the royal walnut moth, and the titan sphinx moths! Hope I get some of them next year. #buggies
Had an awesome weekend trip at Indian Echo Caverns and got to be a goblin in the rocks. No licking the cave though it's still actively growing.
