There was a bit of a bug verifying emails on the website for new user registrations.. (they were getting verified twice, so the second one reported an error and it looked like they weren't..) - but it's fixed now :)

Most of our photos- press photos have information on the reverse, occasionally we come across some with no or incorrect information. Can you help with these?

Our first captain, Charles Louis Hembrey. Born 21st April 1878 in Freemantle, Hants. Died February 5th 1951. Worked as a roofer while playing football for Boscombe where he lived and died. He provided the earliest photograph of Boscombe FC taken December 1899, from which this image is taken. #afcb

Deadline day.. other than kicking the tyres on some left back cover given Soler's injury, don't expect much from #afcb. We're all but safe. I would have liked us to bring in Senesi's successor now to get them up to speed before next season but doesn't look like that's on the cards..

Europa League, 6 games against mid level teams. You have to look at who they've actually played rather than the table. Beating Salzburg away was impressive.. but other then that they've not played anyone half decent. The meat and drink of their league is a long way below PL level..
Dear #afcb fans. This is how we get ahead of ourselves. Β£10.5m for a player from NB1 is not a bargain or a coup. Only this week a Hungarian football podcast called a figure like that totally unrealistic.
NB1 is about League 2 level. The step up is enormous. The kid is talented but let him develop.

#afcb have been linked with a move for Thiago Almada of AtlΓ©tico Madrid. Atleti reportedly want β¬40m or β¬20m, while retaining 50% of his rights. The latter option looks like an absolute steal with the player turning 25 in three months. He would fill the gap left by Justin Kluivert's injury nicely.
