I agree but which one. Vientos has been complaining a bit and if we Trade Marte (I think we will) we will not have a good RH bat off the bench or at DH. If we trade Acuna we do not have the late inning D replacement or speed off the bench. We are not likely Trading Maurício for Robert Jr.

I don't think he got mugged at all. If you think any of these 3 will become all-stars or solid long term starters ok. Mets got a valued late inning set-up man that they desperately need and gave up talent that is replaceable.

The shock is 2 top 12 but when you drill down, no disrespect intended, none of the prospects are ones that should because high level MLB players. They all should be in the majors but non will be difference makers. I am totally cool with the trade.

None of us will look in awe at the talent level brought in. However, given the Cap scenario and how to construct the team under that heavy restriction, I think we did very very well.

Here's the thing, and I may be off so forgive me, If we kept and signed Dobson we possibly could not have signed Romanov to what we did, we would not have brought in Drouin either. So Dobson for Romanov, Drouin, Heineman, Eklund and Aitcheson. Feeling a little better about it #Isles

but, the Steelers know that Watt is the franchise in some ways. this is different than Minkah for sure. A deal will get done for Watt to remain.

I know that at this point int he offseason we need things to talk about. Judging by what the Steelers are doing it shows they think they have a shot at competing this year, losing Watt alters that though and negates all the veteran adds they made. I get the frustration, if there actually is any

Try to stay positive :-). if we get into the tournament anything can happen and frankly I think we are better constructed to compete now than we were the last few years. Health will be key, we will see how it shakes out but I will remain positive

Also, the money for Ramsay and Minkah are not taht far different from one another. we also add a terrific receiving option in Smith who know Arthur Smith's system well and can help Muth and Washingto in it as well. We may be a playff team now and if you are in the playoffs you have a shot.

I was not a fan of Rodgers but is he better than Russ, yeah he is. we will try for our Franchise QB next year in the draft. Slay's contract is 1 year, we had cap space to burn so it does not affect us at all moving forward and we got a good veteran CB who can give guidance to JPJ and Trice.

It will be interesting, I am not as negative on this as you are and like that Omar is super aggressive. let's see how this works out. I think we are better as a team now than we were yesterday but what do I know lol
