I've waited a long time to see the Mold Cape in 'real' life and it didn't disappoint. The Museum of Liverpool and PSs have created a regionally focussed exhibition exploring the idea of treasure.
It really hammers home how rich the archaeology of North West England and North East Wales is πΊπͺ

It's a real collaborative monograph which details the excavation of the Bowl Hole & provides a wider overview of the excavations at the castle.
The first chapter, co-authored with Graeme Young & Barbara Yorke, is freely available to read π
