Had this same thing happen last week with the AT Proto Dev Hang. I thought it was on purpose and reminded me to check in on @openmeet.net.
The current 2FA flow annoys me so much I sometimes don't finish whatever thing I was trying to do.
Same.
I recently wanted to learn modern CSS (coming as a backend/systems background) and found the highly recommended @kevinpowell.co. He's pretty fantastic. Every video is the right length and depth for the topic. I genuinely learned and retained practical skills.
Oh! Nevermind. Found the post that explains it all:

Obviously I know why this is a thing, but for those who don't can you give a TL;DR?
I'm in the high-five room! Come give me a high-five! https://high-five.atprotofans.com/high-five
I feel like Matrix is better overall. Faster, easier to use. I like Zulip in theory, but alway have trouble finding things.
Except @danabra.mov didn't mention that he wanted to constantly chase down checks while re-explaining scope and discovery every month too.
My Rust meetup, @indyrs.midwest.rs, uses Jitsi because it's free and is fine. I've had multiple people complain that "it would be easier if we used zoom". I don't want to gatekeep, but if you can't click a link and join via your browser, maybe Rust isn't the language for you.
Unrelated to the name. Last weekend I did some digging into building a DSL that could autogen SDKs for anything (think OpenAPI/Protobuf). I've been looking for a way to contribute to ATProto (esp @stream.place) so I look forward to helping out on the Rust side.
I don't think it's any more difficult than a lot of other dev tools, but I won't fight it.
I'm not so much. At most you type it once and then copy & paste a clone or curl command. After that it's all autocomplete. ๐
Re: name. This is a tool that helps craft and instrument strings and data.
What about LexLuthier?
That @rust-lang.org comparison is even funnier now that I realize it was @steveklabnik.com who posted it.
I think that means it will slowly gain traction until one day @microsoft.com, @awscloud.bsky.social, @cloudflare.social, and the rest are all building major applications using it...
...Do butterflies and crabs get along?
First interview of our first batch is up now!
That giant box of green beans!
I'd like to know more...
Update.
Turns out, it doesn't have to stop here. Let me introduce you to @indianafever.bsky.social
The manhole that they had to go around is now gone... Why did they not remove it so there isn't a stupid curve for no reason?
Unlike.
This is at least the 2nd time that intersection has moved. They did it on a Saturday during prime riding time. Going south I was on the old trail, going north I was on the new one.
Get me that tank in pink and I'll sport it around the neighborhood.
