TFDS or github.com/google/grain. I personally mainly use TFDS as it lowers to C++ so I'm able to squeeze much more out of it. I'm using the more functional and random-access tfds.data_source API which uses the ArrayRecord format internally.
The big selloff coming from DeepSeek results might be overlooking: 1) the compute cost of proving that large-scale RL is able to enhance LLM reasoning capabilities and 2) the increased inference-time compute demand of the thinking models paradigm.
