When I got the M3, the headliner had already fallen off the sunroof cover. Initially I just removed the cover, but I decided to try wrapping it with some self-adhesive suede.
It came out looking pretty good, and it was cheap! Hopefully it survives summer heat later this year :P

Loon was awesome, and conditions were niiiice. Stratton was a bit harder and colder, but still great (and free wings are always worth the trip!)

The difficulty with grandparents here is because they have this positive remembrance of the experience, it makes it feel like you’re struggling and they didn’t
Anyway, we all went out to dinner last night, as we do every week when I visit, and it was good!
Robin isn’t a fan of food of any sort really so meals can be kind of hard. However, we’ve been getting better at keeping him entertained, and once the food came out he happily had some fries and ketchup
All this to say, if there’s any other parents Going Through It(tm) now, or in the future, hopefully I can share some things to help them, or at least that they have company :P
Child raising is really challenging, and as soon as you figure stuff out, they learn new things, unearthing new challenges.
It’s also hard that grandparents have the benefit of fading affect bias, so they kind of forget the difficulties they experienced in favor of the fun parts.
I don’t dad post here much, but as slightly more people I know are/are becoming parents, I’m gonna change that a bit.
For those that don’t know, my girlfriend and her husband have a 2 year old, who I am heavily involved with raising.
Not gonna lie, this is basically an 8hr ski day’s worth of activity, followed by a house party. Light work for a Saturday
Last weekend at Killington we got some sweeeeeet fresh turns Saturday morning. I’ve never ridden in untracked snow like that before, it was awesome!

Took advantage of the sunny weather today to get some car work done! M3 now has new valve covers, vanos caps, spark plug tubes, and all associated hardware/seals :D
Loosing people you love is hard. I’d say, don’t place expectations on yourself to “heal” or “get over” grief. People grieve in different ways, and at different paces.
For me, my grief for those I’ve lost isn’t something I’ve healed from, but something I’ve slowly learned to live with in time
Remember to eat, sleep, drink water, and shower. Take time by yourself if you want space, and lean on your friends if you want company.

Spin cycle hasn’t been able to balance recently, so I took a look inside to see what’s up.
2 of the 4 shocks are leaking, and 1 other one is completely broken. Should be able to get replacement parts pretty quick and get it fixed :3
