Going through the MAiD process with a family member right now but is doubtful they will make it due to the severity of their illness. MAiD only provide services during "bankers hours" and cannot accommodate anything outside of weekdays due to funding.
We like Proton for the security, even the free version, and there are more features in the paid. I still have my original Hotmail account for junk.
One day I hope to go back. It's about as cool of a ghost town as I've ever seen.

It's our time now but it is hard. Father-in-law in hospital in November and moved to a PCH in December (dementia). Mother-in-law in hospital the same final week he was. Now in hospice (cancer). It's so much and I feel what you're going through.
