You got to admit, only George Perez is capable to re-designing all of the Avengers' medieval costumes... only to throw it all away when they reverted back to their normal costumes in a few issues.

Thanks to everyone who mentioned that McFarlane Toys is not quite done with Super Powers yet. They announced this last month (Feb 15). I am guessing their final wave will be an Entertainment Earth exclusive for Summer 2026. Any guesses on the final figures? Jericho & Kole please!
I'd been wanting to do this for a while but made enough time to squeeze it in. Based on George Perez' cover for New Teen Titans issue 1.

Geez Louise!
Someone asked me about the future of the Super Powers line. I don't know what Mattel's plans are, but in my opinion, I do not think they will continue the line. As it is, Cyborg is just bad news for Super Powers. He killed both line, and extremely hard to find.
This was solved about a month ago. Itβs traya the adoptive daughter of red tornado
Thanks to James M for mentioning that there exists a plush doll of the Challenge of the Gods Wonder Woman! I had no idea this existed. I stopped collecting toys (or trying to give up)!
If I see it in real life at a store, I might just buy it. I think it's so cool.

I think some people were confused that the "Tiny Lex" was a full-sized action figure. It is a tiny micro thing. I would guess they're only 1-inch tall, made by Gentle Giant. I don't know if they made the entire Super Powers line, but the Lex Luthor one was a Walgreens exclusive.
I saw this tiny lex at 2nd and Charles for $5. I already have it but if you needed on and never saw it at Walgreensβ¦.

If you're looking for something to store 6" figures in like the McFarlane Super Friends, Bass Pro has a tackle box for $7.99 that fits the bill.

Update to The Mime. Thanks to Ilke Hincer for pointing me to the unpublished Pacific Presents comic book for a story called βthe Mimeβ. As mentioned in Perez Archives by Andy Mangels
Pacific Presents - never published.

Marvel Universe Gallery: 1990-1994 Trading Card Collection is coming in Sep 8, 2026 for $60.
I don't know, seems expensive... especially considering I probably still have the old trading cards somewhere. I know for certain I have all the George Perez cards.

John wants me to buy this Nightwing 66 because it's on sale for $10. I did give it a second thought, since the character and costume was based on George Perez's designs... but I gave up on collecting (right?)

Anyone with any information on The Mime? It looks similar to the cover to Americomics ("The Shade") or perhaps a pinup to a Perez creation for THUNDER Agents (that series was cut short due to copyright issues).
If you have any information, I'd love to hear it. Oh the irony, if you were a mime.
With the upcoming facsimile releases of the 2003 JLA/Avengers books, let's hope that Marvel and DC will reprint the unpublished pages in a general release or include it in the upcoming collection.
The pencils are so tight. Hawkeye, Starfox, She-Hulk, Beast cannot touch Kang...
Whoever graded this CGC comic book did a bad job. All you have to do is check the copyright date or just recognize George Perez's art does not look like Ed Barreto or Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez. Whoever owns this should ask CGC to make the correction.
Someone said there were little difference, I beg to differ (see comparison).
When DC scanned it originally, it was print resolution & they had bad software that removed details (glass and bricks) or misunderstood the colors.
NOTE: Judas Contract original bad scans were corrected for DC Finest
George Perez wasn't happy with his origin ink of New Teen Titans #8 cover in 1984 that he re-inked the cover in 2010.
NOTE: The poor reproduction/scan of the official DC Digital version (the original print is superior in details and colors).
The last few times I've been to Ollie's, it's been disappointing due to lack of new stock (for toys or comics).
Their new ad said they got a selection of Canvas Art (and cardboard poster). That Batman one looks cool, is it worth $18 for a canvas print?

I don't think I have this Legion of Super-Heroes #20 comic book in my collection. It was published in 2013.

I recently purchased this oversized hardcover of Superman vs Wonder Woman for $15. Big gorgeous art by Jose Luis Garcia-Lopez on glossy paper. So if you don't have one, you can get it for cheap at 2nd and Charles (if they have them in stock).
