That one was ugly, but I liked it because it kept making it look like Pogacar might have shit himself
They’re averaging 4.6 yards per point right now (and that numbers about to go down)
Just looked up their startlist from 2023 and apparently sending an absolute dogshit team to Romandie is Visma heritage
Neilson today
I had a week last year where, largely by accident, I ended up rewatching Top Secret!, Top Gun, and Heat in a row. He was so good in everything.
Pretty sure Tarling is with Ganna in G2 per the HLN ticker
Matthew Brennan with an absolutely demonic finish. Most impressive final few kms of racing I’ve seen this year.
Labous did either the worst attack or worst leadout of all time while Demi was buried in the group with like 1k left on the Poggio, and there were moments from multiple other teams/riders that were arguably more damaging than that
All 6 of my riders in velogames were in that group, I’m so mad
Best sport in the world (women’s cycling) putting out fireworks right now live on YouTube

First time doing Velogames for TDU went fine (different final team than I initially posted). This is the lineup I’m going with for Alula Tour. Not sold on Brustenga. But it’s a shallow race, and I needed another sprinter.
Also I’m trying out velogames for the first time and not taking it very seriously. Considering dropping some combo of Onley/Torres/Herrada to fit in Narváez and someone from Israel.
Men’s world tour starts today with the Tour Down Under!
Unfortunately kind of expect UAE and maybe Israel (these are sportswashed trade teams not countries, lol) to roll everyone. But hopefully there’s fun stuff from Plapp and hyped young guys like Withen Philipsen, Brennan, Gloag, Torres, etc.
Merab/Umar already as good as any fight there was in MMA last year
A lot of dumb stuff here, but BW being different between men and women is just baffling to me
Just found a highlight reel from an old Volk fight where he triangles a guy
It’s also nice to watch a sport where the average athlete seems like a nice, normal person (this is mainly in contrast with MMA)
In 2025, I’m probably going to post a lot more about pro cycling. I loved getting really into it last year. And I think I enjoyed watching it more than I enjoyed any other sport last year. It rules.
He set the career D1 passing touchdown record, got a couple after that, then sat the second half while his backup went 5/13 for 26 yards in a one score game (the camera kept cutting to him on the sidelines too)
Do not get how people like La Croix. It’s like drinking cheap perfume water.
Two judges gave Gane R2 somehow
This might be hard for newer fans to understand, but Kron is actually following a long and storied Gracie family tradition of being awful at MMA
Landwehr got worked that round (though he started to figure out how to work his way in a little better by the end), but he also got hurt by the first punch Choi threw so hard to read too much into it IMO. I’ll be interested to see how he comes out in the 2nd.
It was basically just an incredibly shitty, condensed version of Weidman/Rockhold
Guida is so washed that he’s a blank canvas on the feet at this point in his career, but Hooper’s striking does genuinely look better if disjointed. He was doubling up on the lead hand and kicking off his punches at points. Also insane transitions on the ground like always (and some good GNP).
IMPORTANT LIFE UPDATE: watching Bloodsport
Fight was just as good as I remembered (I hadn’t watched it in a few years). Disagree with the decision, but I can see how someone would favor Cruz even if I pretty strongly disagree. 49-46 Cruz is atrocious, though.
Cool hyper small-guy exchange from Cruz Benavidez 2. Benavidez jabs into a single leg attempt then keeps the momentum going and pushes Cruz to the fence where he throws a jumping head kick.
Getting mad about MMA reddit is the dumbest thing a person can do, but I just saw a thread full of people saying Pantoja (who I like!) is greater than Joseph Benavidez and I’m losing my mind
