The end car is called a cab car. Cab is short for cabbage because there is no locomotive power in that car. Our locomotives push and pull. When we change direction, the engineer drives from the cab car. 💚🤍🤎

Bah ha ha! They are there for testing. Amtrak owns that section of track so testing is easier than trying to work around freight trains. 💚🤍🤎

That's what we wanted to do but Amtrak is too excited about the new trains to wait for theirs, so they are using ours. Never fear, we will host public events for you to come and see your new trains in Seattle and Portland later this year before we start carrying passengers. 💚🤍🤎
