I'm actually really enjoying my time on mastodon. highly recommend
unironically I've found that installing it on Linux is *easier* and I find that hilarious
also if you're joining mastodon DO NOT GO FOR THE MAIN MASTODON.SOCIAL SERVER. its full of bots and freaks and moderation is insane. pick a federated server instead; I like tech.lgbt!
seeing as this site is burning to the ground; mastodon. each instance has its own rules and you won't ever get blindsided, especially if you're running your own instance!

I see a few recommendations for fedora kde but my personal recommendation is nobara kde! It's a fedora based distro so you get all the goodies plus more built for gaming specifically, AND it's made by the guy behind proton ge!
