Oy. It's gonna be the most basic things. #voiceacting and #voiceover are commonly used, but also lead to everything else in the community. Ideally for casting I'd find a casting director or going to an agency. Second best would be to put out a casting call and request that people use a specific tag.

Establishing a new music streaming "station" is always weird. Like I'm trying to explain to an algorithm, one song at a time, that Sleigh Bells Radio is for the heavy, distorted sound of murderous women. The aural equivalent of a sweet green dryad enacting nature's wrath. Not fucking Arcade Fire.

It's called "This Is Not What Was Missing" and was a very interesting experience. I find it very witchy. Just about every element in it was born from an accident, but in the final piece every part is intentional.
I've never been one for visual mediums. Played music, took up acting but couldn't figure out on-camera performance, am having a lot more fun and success in voice acting. But it is always good to push that comfort zone, so here's my first ever painting on canvas. Many happy accidents occurred.

It is so sad to hear of Val Kilmer's passing. But also it is so like him to die on April Fool's Day. Rest in peace.
I feel like Halloween and April Fools Day have similar vibes. When designing a Haunt or a prank, you hope to deceive the audience enough to elicit an emotion without hurting them. And as the audience, the experience is better if you allow yourself to be just gullible enough for it to work.
Enjoying a day off as I prepare for a minor surgery tomorrow. Looking forward to doing a lot of work on my new VO project while I'm recovering! Very thankful for the remote opportunities I've had recently.

It's funny how pleasantly intoxicating it can feel to spend time surrounded by creatives. A week at #GDC and I spent the first night home drafting ideas for a game. I am motivated to read more, to make more, and to act *even* more, but at the same time I am returned to "the grind." Alas.
So much tastier than store-bought. Always made with real butter.
I played it that night! I wasn't able to get that far because of the noise and many distractions, but it looks great and I would love to give it a try in a nice cozy quiet room
A post on the Genshin Impact subreddit announcing the recasting of the character Kinich The text reads: After Version 5.5 is updated, Kinich's VA will be updated to Jacob Takanashi (this change only applies to new content in Version 5.5, historical content will be gradually updated in subsequent versions). A response from a Reddit user states: I know nothing about HSR's situation, but in ZZZ, both VAs were non-union but striking anyway. Nothing was keeping them from working. Can't say I know enough about Kinich's actor, but if the Strike becomes an invalid reason for him to stop voicing the character then I imagine the same applies to him.
An exchange between two users about the recasting One says: I think hoyo is running out of patience with the strike and will slowly recast actors that refuse to come back. The response from the other is: Frankly, it's been a long time coming, Hoyo was very respectful and willing to work through this situation for a long time, but it's fundamentally effected the game for EN players and I'm sure it's being reflected in their data.
A Reddit user stating: This is unfortunate but at the same time, it's something that must be done. It's almost half a year already.
