I think it's always really funny when somebody tries to do something malicious but then they fail to even pull it off right.

Oh yeah you're definitely right. I just wasn't looking at the right part of the image.
And honestly... I have no idea how I missed the double switches lol
Looks amazing, really ironic that it's posted on a site called Bluesky lol
I trust the SynthID, but could you clarify the 2nd and 3rd image? I kinda just looks like your pointing at a reflection but I'm not sure if the arrow was meant to be pointing somewhere else since it's just a triangle
FireRed
It still kinda confuses me because Miyazaki didn't care for Demon's Souls. And he's never really had any issues with other developers using his IP. I guess Bloodborne is a bit different but the news felt really out of character and quite surprising to me.
I'm not fully happy with the battle mechanics yet but they can wait for now, it's good enough that I should focus on adding content and making the game fun for more than just PvP folks. After all it's meant to be both a fighting and character action game.
As a sidenote: I found myself too caught up in endlessly refining the battle mechanics, so I'm taking a break from that for a bit to focus on adding more content and the game's single player mode.
Just wanted to give a quick followup: This new UI and engine rework update is out. The only stage currently available is the training stage unfortunately, but I'll be working soon to add some new ones and generally improve the game experience and add more content.
I hope you guys aren't too disappointed with the removal of 3D backgrounds, but they're harder to make, hard on performance on my machine (an old shitty laptop), and they can be a bit of an art style clash for better or for worse.
The good news is that the game will now run on potatoes
Also, the new update is reworking the engine and UI to use to same pixel scaling as in-game, and the game is going to be fully 2D going forward.
Working on an in-game feedback form so people don't have to open a Google Form in their browser. It also goes straight to a private channel on my Discord so it's super convenient
For anybody curious, it was the bridge with the 3 idols. Hopefully that describes it without spoiling too much.
Yeah the new layer was really fun but I'm playing on a low end machine so I wasn't able to get through one of the rooms in the first level due to performance issues. I used the kill enemies cheat to get past that room but the layer overall was really good.
Really good, though quite laggy on my old laptop.
They tell you to only use your first name so people have something to call you by. You're not supposed to give any more info than that
I've felt that sometimes team-related blame shifting, while helpful in the short-term, can often lead to long-term dissatisfaction. It helps you not feel like you suck, but personally I try to avoid it because it prevents my improvement and leads to me feeling like my losses are out of my control
He's not entirely wrong. But matchmaking should generally maintain a 50% winrate once you're matched at your proper skill. Losing half the time doesn't make people quit, but toxic comms sometimes can. And I do think there's more that we can and should do about that
I don't know much about star signs but this would make a super cool summoning circle for a video game.
Whatever video you're making. PLEASE include this
I use chrome, but STILL this feels like anti-competitive business practices to me.
This is gonna go so hard lol
I think the ear angle probably takes the cake for the new most obscure mechanics you've ever covered.
And maybe the ear muffling thing on the bloatheads would be the most obscure *used* mechanic
They think you're an actual cat lol
I mean... it's obviously inspired by real world politics generally. Personally it's reminded me of some very specific real world immigration enforcement at the moment. But this was written in the 80s, so it wasn't inspired by that. However it did a good job predicting the future.
That's actually kinda banger
I'm a big Montserrat fan, but other than that I have nothing to offer.
GOD I love caffeine
It's sprung up completely independently in so many different places that I don't think it's fair to conclusively say a particular group popularized it.
As much as I would love to believe this has trans or furry influences, I don't think it's fair to attribute it to any specific communities. Almost everyone uses commas instead of emdashes or semicolons, and many people have defaulted to that capitalization scheme for various reasons.
