I don’t just need “comfort food” these days. I need these “WTF is going right now?” Owls that fully share in my wide spectrum of emotions as I revise my novel in a time where everyone is questioning everything & are we all have an existential crisis…but at least we still have sugar.

This all started with just 5 wet-pastel splatters on paper, and when I looked for the faces in this daily #drawing challenge, I saw dragons, so I sketched a family of them within 10 minutes. How’s that for #fantasy novel inspiration ?
