The "action" is often on Instagram for popular culture, which I cannot bring myself to adopt even though I tried twice. It's just awful. News is totally lost. There is not one source. I use RSS feeds but have to wade through so much junk.

Mastodon and on Bluesky seem to have plateaued in growth. It feels like social media has lost its luster. We need an impetus to use it again, for it to become actually useful again.

Amtrak cancelled my train last Friday after doubling the price days before. Rebooking on other trains were sold out. If they aren’t going to refund what I paid in full, I’m going straight to the state attorney general’s office. This is bullshit.

That doesn’t mean anything to me. Hollywood is generally entirely stupidly obsessed with remakes. It’s so dumb.
