Terribly misguided and surely not in the interest of the public. There is absolutely nothing „defensive“ about the US onslaught of rapid strikes onto Iran. In every war, it’s the people, civilians who suffer. Thé UK has now just made itself vulnerable too.

It is beyond absurd that Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are involved in any serious negotiation.

This corrupt, unprofessional duo is completely out of its depth on Ukraine and the Middle East, and the resulting wars mean they now have blood on their hands

That Dem consultants told Gov. Walz to stop calling them “weird” still has me miffed.

Trump Accidentally Sabotages GOP’s 2026 Strategy in Two Crazed Tirades As Trump issues angry demands to Republicans, drowning out their economic message, a congressional observer explains why they’re in deep trouble in the midterms—and how they may cheat their way out of...

Great point from @normornstein.bsky.social: Trump's demand that the GOP pass grotesque voter suppression measures is explicitly described by him as the way to win the midterms, implicitly admitting Trump's policies are failing.

On the pod Norm is so good on all this:

Rand Paul: "I think we've gotten overextended. This is our second war in a month, and these wars are very very expensive not only in the lives that are lost, but also in treasure. I'm very very concerned about the debt. Half a trillion dollars for the military budget is fiscally irresponsible."

U.S. voters oppose war in Iran, strongly against Trump sending ground troops: Quinnipiac poll Nearly half of those polled are concerned gas prices will rise due to the conflict, while another 25% said they are somewhat concerned.

1. Again, it’s the president’s war, not America’s.

Poll after poll after poll show a majority, sometimes a vast majority, does not want the US to be entangled in a Middle East war.

If gender were the immutable biological reality they claim to believe it is, they wouldn't need to spend so much energy policing it like this.

It is rich to be like “the mayor took time to write a serious response to an attack, which might be problematic” while consistently sane-washing the president tweets

Asia markets tumble as oil nears $120; marks largest one day gain in almost 40 years Brent futures spiked 23.38% to $114.30, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 26.35% to $114.85.

“The 30% jump in oil prices is the largest one day gain since late 1988…The surge comes after Middle Eastern oil producers, including Kuwait, Iran and the United Arab Emirates, cut oil production following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.”

CPAC Head Says Iranian Schoolgirls Are Better Dead Than “in a Burqa” Leading Republicans don’t seem to care about the bombing of a girls’ school in Iran.

Disabled people tried to warn you.

We said the “better off dead” narrative being weaponized against us would be used for other groups of people.

The fascists won’t ever stop. They see everyone else as less than. Expendable. Not worthy of life.

Its eugenics on a massive scale

That's not what this article says, notably not even in the headline. It says an anonymous source said that the AI use was *likely*. The source has no personal knowledge and is noting that it is the "immediate theory". Let's keep this clear.
