The fleet of vehicles ready to compete in Gaslands Roadshow Live!
I've been building a fleet
This is why you're one of my favorite people here.
Ohh, you mean like make my own hood ornament?
Tagline?
If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire the Locos.
The Crew Top: The Combateers Middle: Grave and Glaive Bottom: The Smiling Sisters

The Boss: Coco
Coco's Locos
Was gifted a large handful of random minis from a friend. I'm going to paint them up and give them each a backstory. They'll be a crew, or gang, or squad or even a merry band.
And then I'll find a game for them.

Badass
Huzzah! Worth it for the Mighty K alone
Studebaker without a hood ornament
Oh noes! The Studebaker hood ornament just fell off somewhere!
That thing is too tiny to be found
Also, I blame you Premium Diecast collectors out there. You know who you are.

It's so cool!
Today's #diecast are three Racing Champions cars that might be premium? I'm not sure how to judge them, while they do have rubber tires, they also have plastic bases. I don't want to start collecting Premiums, but I couldn't pass up the deal for these.
They are really nice, though.
I can do that or switch the wheels with the tracks. In these pics, I only rotated the body. But, if I switched their positions, I think it might have the more aggressive stance with the tracks up front.
I keep bouncing back and forth between the "hot rod" stance and the upright and "proper" stance.
I like the roast chicken driver in these cars
Pair this with the Roller Toaster and you've got a decent breakfast!
Hot Wheels Loco Punk with tank treads at front or at rear
A or B?
I think having the treads in the rear are the most "realistic". But, I don't hate "A".
Please let me know the availability of this to rent for vacation
Just learned about the existence of this beauty.
The Hot Wheels Tur-Bone Charged.
Looks like I've got a new Grail
Please please please
If you see this, post a robot (or 3)

Hot Wheels 2026 HW Torque 5-Pack Muscle Bound Custom '67 Pontiac Firebird '72 Ford Gran Torino Sport '69 Dodge Charger 500 Rivited
Nice score! Very successful hunt. That Car Culture MG Metro is a 2023 release.
I'm looking for the HW Torque 5-Pack. It's a good mix of fantasy and licensed castings.

- Custom '67 Pontiac Firebird
- '72 Ford Gran Torino Sport
- '69 Dodge Charger 500
- Rivited
Today's #diecast is the '63 Studebaker Avanti. I want customize it as Professor Utonium's car.
At last weekend's meet, I found this Hot Wheels version. But it's too shiny and pretty to mess up with a custom. Luckily, I found this Johnny Lightning version at the same table.
Those gaps are pretty minimal for moving parts, nice casting. Love those wheels, too. I don't think I've ever seen these on the pegs by me.
Didn't realize until now that Wacky Racers needed a Lovecraftian car
This video is an excellent reference for when I customize the Blade Runner #diecast

From l-to-r: ERTL Blade Runner (1982) set; Deckard's Spinner, Deckard's Ground Car, Rachel's Spinner and Bryant's Spinner. The Hot Wheels Sentinel 400 Limo in police livery is in the back. Photo under white light (top) and purple light (bottom)
Two Spinners under white and purple lights. Might strip and repaint, but will use a spray paint to do it, I think. The front wheels need to be removed, as they should be rotated as the Spinners are in flight mode. Might replace them with a bit that looks like jet exhausts.
Rachel's Spinner and Deckard's Ground Car, both need to be stripped as the thick paint covers a lot of details. Also, there's that weird "Blade Runner" logo plastered on them, 80s, amirite? Again, I feel like these need a spray paint treatment and not my rough handpainted look.
The Syd Mead Sentinel 400 Limo, now that I've got some plasticard, I want to redo the front end so that it is more inline with the original concept art
Today's #diecast features a set got at the meet. It's the #BladeRunner (1982) set from ERTL. It consists of two Spinners, police and Deckard. As well, as Deckard's ground car and Rachel's Spinner. The movie vehicles were designed by #SydMead and I've included his Sentinel limo in the pics
Replacement teams have been designated for the next #Gaslands Death Race Demo. Teams will have one month to outfit and prepare their vehicles. As long as sponsors are willing to send contestants, there will be a full complement of racers to select for the demo.
These were the giveaway cars that were given away. Eight were to players, two were given to kids passing by and stopped to listen to my spiel. And the last one given to a kid who already had one and asked for another.
