A cat poster done in the style of a mid-20th-century communist propaganda poster. A line of three cat faces face left in unison. Below them is a large crowd of cats marching. They represent various kinds of cats, ages, and jobs. The background is a large red flag. Text at bottom reads: The purrletarians have nothing to lose but their collars. They have a world to win. Workers of the world, Unite!"

A small, square, ink line drawing in the style of Picasso. It shows a mother cat cradling a dead kitten. The face is twisted directly upwards, locked in a powerful wail. The other arm is outstretched downward in agony. A simple line is the horizon separating the heavens and the earth. Signed N Nun.

An in progress drawing of a movie poster which is also a cat poster. Three tall, alien cats leer over a smaller cat holding a knife and fork. On a table in front of the cat is a bowl with a fish. In old style spooky font below is the movie title "Hungry are the Damned."

Feeling spread thin these days but also craving a bit of creative work so I gave myself a little, easygoing project to tackle. Going to make a colour poster of this ink drawing for the cat horror movie Hungry are the Damned. Just putting down some base colours, trying out a palette to start.

A cat poster in the style of a 1930s soviet propaganda poster. The poster is black and white except for a large, red flag held up by a black cat. It reads "Many Furs - One Working Class." Below the black cat, in a row looking forward, are four other cats of various types and fur colours with arms forward and claws out in an aggressive stance. Behind them is a statue of two cats holding up a star. The text below the image reads "United against capitalist domination and fascist barbarity we can make a world belonging to all." Small print at bottom reads "Third Socialist Cat Congress" and "United Upright Cats International (UUCI)". Nathan Nun 2019

A message from the United Upright Cats International and 3rd Socialist Congress. "Many Furs - One Working Class!" (Based on the 1937 poster, Greetings to the Fighters Against Fascism).

Druid Nap, 2019. Looks like an old elf cat druid fell into an enchanted nap for a couple of years. Tempting...

Black and white photo of four kittens spilling out of a basket that seems to be partially full of sticks or vines or something. They’re all short haired, and there is a black haired tuxedo, two tabbies, and what looks like a white and calico. Two of them look remarkably grumpy, and the other two seemed kind of blank and possibly confused.

Historians agree that the real Pandora’s Box was likely a basket of grumpy kittens. Postcard from my collection, mailed 1904.

An early 20th-century cat propaganda poster. A grey cat in worker garb stands in the foreground pointing at a large, empty bowl. In the background is a factory city whose workers are pouring into the streets. The cat asks the viewer through the top text of the poster "The owners have taken our labour, our life. And in return?" It is answered in bold text in the middle of the poster with "Empty Bowls!"

An acrylic painting inspired by Starry Night. It is a side view cat portrait of a tabby looking at the moon. In the background are various cattree shaped buildings. The starry sky is painted in moving, swirling strokes.

A painting in the style of early-20th century constructivists. It features a black and red geometric shape like a sickle just off center. Overlapping its edge is a red circle with another smaller circle inside it that is a portrait of a cat. Words, in black red and white, lined up geometrically with some of the forms read "grow + nip 1925". These elements are arranged on a pure white background creating high contrast.

I have one or two laser toner of this left. I had pulled it as I wanted to either reimage it or enhance the image file I have before putting it up again as a giclee print. The toner image is good but i thought I could make it better. I could make an order for the toner or new giclee.

A propaganda poster featuring cats. This poster is based on a well-known soviet anti-alcohol poster. A cat in a suit is eating a fish dinner. They are offered a glass of nip spirits from an arm reaching into the frame in front of the figure. The eating cat holds up a paw in a gesture of refusing the drink. Large text says "Nah!" smaller text at bottom reads "No nip today - friends and comrades need me."

A cat poster in the style of a mid-century soviet propaganda poster. A grey and white cat in work overalls has his arms outstretched kneading a large pillow shaped clump of dough. Behind him is another cat that holds a bowl of baked biscuits. They stand in front of a huge red flag behind which is a graphic of rows of conveyor belts of biscuits in a biscuit factory. There is a logo for the "International Union of Biscuit Makers" and bold text at the bottom which reads "The Kneads of the People Come First - Full Bellies! - Food For All!" In smaller type various credits.

One of the first and most powerful of the international unions, the Biscuit Makers (est. 1904) was at the forefront of struggles for dignity and justice in the lives of working cats. Its message resonates through the many worlds: "The kneads of the people come first!" #digitalart #catart #union

An ink drawing, coloured with markers, that is a drawing of an election poster. A large hammer, shaped like a 5, comes down on the heads of three cats with bewildered looks on their faces. The three cats represent capital, fascism, and reaction. The hammer is labelled "Slate (5) Communist Party."

he sold only 1 painting in his lifetime and died young. The fact we let this happen to artists still is a tragedy. He was worth something, but many in his community let him down cuz they couldnt see his value.

With my artwork, I've definitely found a niche that works. I get by, but mostly it is not from originals, but prints. I think on average I sell three small paintings a year. If I relied on it I'd be done.

I guess Im trying to say that there may be nothing wrong with your art practice or even selling as such. This is not to say that things cannot be done or improved, but fine art is a tough sell and the social conditions and formal rules can make it harder.
