AI everything is bad. This might especially include AI tech support bots. The terrible circles I just went through on the phone with a real person who was trying to tell me how to make the AI tech support work, my god. The guy on the phone eventually just did it for me.
Also, I can prove it’s not AI because I COMPOSED IT LIVE ON A STREAM. Damn, our world is stupid now.

I have two different Youtube channels (they have different intended audiences.) On one, I was just served a video from the other, and was asked whether I thought it was AI. It was an original composition of mine. I hate that I may now have to prove that my original work isn’t AI.
Made the mistake of going on FB and saw a bunch of people saying Kirk was a good man. In what way?!? The man was a ghoul. He had some of the most heinous beliefs out there
If I rate something on the UK app 3/5, they say, great! We’re glad you liked it! If I give a rating of 4/5 on the US app, they’re like, please tell us what we did wrong! No joke, someone messaged me on the US app to make sure everything was ok after a 4/5 rating.
Now for Something That Doesn’t Matter But I Think Is Funny:
I’ve lately been regularly using two different apps, one made in the US, one made in the UK. After each use I’m prompted to rate the chunk that I just used out of 5. (next slide, please)
At least it’ll be something to keep me busy while everything in the country falls apart
Sooo I don’t usually compose all that much any more. What do I decide to do? Give myself a huge challenge to compose a piece in sonata-allegro form with basically a full orchestra of synth sounds… in a week. “Wouldn’t it be cool if?” turned into “guess I’m doing it now.”
I feel the same way about ai music. Maybe it will be able to make something that approximates a good song at some point but the second I learn it was created by a thing that can't experience loss or joy or whatever it immediately becomes uninteresting by definition

Okay, I cannot recommend 5calls.org enough. Enter your address and it will find all your reps (federal and state). AND give you a list of issues to call about AND which reps to call about each of them AND a little script for each, in case it's helpful. They have an app, too.
