I’m no expert, but I think they should engage more with the public than policy now. Become the squeakiest wheel. Keep introducing War Powers Resolutions. Organize anti-war marches/rallies. I think they might have a bigger impact on the people right now (indirectly on policy) vs. on policy directly.

I feel this. I’ve ended up dealing with it by getting laughing gas for everything except cleanings. It’s like $20 after my insurance. I probably wouldn’t go at all without it, so I figure the trade off is worth it for me.
Yeah, my parents both worked full time but even among my grandparents, my grandma was a librarian when her kids were out of the house and basically always did odd jobs—Avon, Tupperware, stuffed mailers for the March of Dimes—even when they were young.
I don’t know who that is and, after reading that, I think I’m pretty happy that’s the case
