Studio Renovation
Last week, I gave the studio a makeover, again, to transform it from the super-functional office space that it was, into a much warmer, cozier place to work but also to relax and breathe.
I was stressed just reading this story.
I’d love to see more like this. Very interesting.

Shipped three packages to the same PEI address yesterday. All picked up at the Grand Bay Medicine Shoppe drop spot at the same time. Two arrived at the destination today. One is delayed due to “weather”. Purolator has a habit of blaming weather for every delay.

We had a bit of wind at The Timber Walk last night. The power went out for about 8 hours and in that time about a dozen trees came down. Fortunately there was no major damage to anything else.

Since then we’ve added a driveway, power, water, septic, the workshop, the first 30' of boardwalk, and all the foundations for Birchwood Cottage.

IT’S ALIVE!!! Don’t worry, those aren’t monster tentacles reaching into the workshop. They’re just the power lines for the cottage, cabins and shower house. This weekend we ran them into the building but they won’t be connected to the electrical panel until there are buildings on the other ends.

It was another exhausting day at The Timber Walk, preparing footings for the piers that will hold up Birchwood Cottage. I’m so grateful for the people in my life who are willing to help me turn this dream into a reality.
