The failure of that referendum was the lowest point in our history imho. Politicians like PotHead who came out aggressively against it shld've been censured & jailed: they utterly failed in their responsibilities & duty of care to Australians - our First Nations people + those of us who voted YES.

Interesting reveal. I've never believed he was dead. Why, when he was pretty much untouchable, would he kill himself? He was far too deluded to think he wld ever be punished. Besides he was stretchered out of the prison with his head uncovered and on an oxygen mask.

I saw the doco recently - he wasn't walked out. He was stretchered out, but what struck me as strange was that it didn't look like a dead body. His head - hair & face - were visible & he had an oxygen mask on his face. Maybe that's standard procedure until a hospital doctor declares TOD. 🤷‍♀️
