While the Bite of 87' results in animatronics no longer being allowed to roam during the day, so it would have had to be done by an animatronic that was off-stage. Our best guess for the Bite of 87' is that Mangle did it, and the victim was Jeremy, the player character for most of FNAF2. (2)

A: The Fredbear Bite incident is not the Bite of '87. The year on the TV suggests it takes place earlier, the victim dies unlike the Bite of 87' victim who Phone Guy said lives, and it was done by an animatronic on stage, (1)
